Community Support in Your Area

March 23, 2020 Melissa Wylie

If you need some support in your local area with prescriptions and food collections etc, please see the list below of a community group in your area of who can help. We must all stay strong during these difficult times and help those who are in need. For more community groups in Tyrone & Fermanagh please see here   #strongertogether

Remember id you need someone to talk to we can offer emotional support to farmers and their families during this difficult time through our helpline 0800 138 1678. You will speak to someone with an understanding of the pressures of farming who is there to listen and provide you with further information as well as help you to get through to the most appropriate support agencies.

Also the Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) has produced a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document to support farmers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The content contains relevant information on the most common queries that the UFU have received from members relating to the illness and its impact on the agri-food industry. There is a section dedicated to each commodity/sector and the document will be updated regularly.
