Mentors
Rural Support have a team of sixteen agri-business mentors based across Northern Ireland delivering on farm business support.
The mentors’ role is to provide independent, confidential support to farm family members to help establish a clear picture of the current circumstances and identify solutions to find a way forward and determine the actions necessary to improve the circumstances. Mentors provide objectivity, knowledge and empathy to assist families to take the necessary steps to address problems and implement change.
Within the mentoring team there is an expanse of financial, business, technical and counselling. Mentors have worked in the agri sector and are all experienced in helping farm families to address issues relating to their farm enterprise and family relationships.
