Andrew joined Rural Support as a volunteer shortly after the charity was formed in 2002.  Andrew was brought up on the family farm in County Meath.  He attended Trinity and graduated with a degree in Agriculture & Arts and went on to complete a Masters in Agriculture.  Andrew taught in the Agricultural College.  He is a chartered Biologist and a Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Society.  He also assisted in interviewing the public for DARD positions at Stormont.  Andrew has completed courses on environmental issues and business in relation to farming.  Andrew was a College Warden in Greenmount for 33 years, responsible for managing farms associated with the college as well as advising farmers on new farming initiatives.  Andrew has since set up his own business advising individuals on environmental issues.

Andrew enjoys talking to clients, trying to ascertain what their problems are and guiding them on ways to address and tackle their issues.
